Formia: Porto Nuovo and Porto Caposele in the Gulf of Gaeta

Formia faces the Gulf of Gaeta at the foot of the Aurunci mountains, halfway between Rome and Naples. Porto Nuovo is devoted entirely to pleasure boating: about 500 berths, sheltered by two elbow-shaped breakwaters, with floating pontoons for boats up to 25 metres.

Porto Caposele, instead, is the terminal for ferries and hydrofoils to Ponza and Ventotene, with an area reserved for private boats. From here the Pontine Islands are the natural cruising destination.

With Abayachting, Formia is also a point of reference for anyone looking to sell their boat or buy a used sailing or motor boat in the Gulf of Gaeta.
